My name is Robin McArthur and for those who do not know me, I am a long-time union representative and I have represented the hard-working people of this community for more than 40 years.
I have represented the Retail Wholesale Union, regionally and internationally, as well. I started my union career with Local 598 of the Mine Mill and Smelter Workers in Sudbury in 1963 and was elected their president.
Even when my career took me to other countries, my heart has always been and continues to be in my hometown of Sudbury. In fact, my son graduated from Laurentian University.
