OPPO has reportedly succeeded in its aim to develop its own application processor for mobile devices. Therefore, the company may be ready to release smartphones with this first-party chipset in the next few years. The breakthrough would put the Android OEM on par with a handful of others such as Google with its Tensor silicon.
