(WFIE) - Owensboro Burger Week kicks off this week. There are 24 participating restaurants that have created a burger that you can devour for $6. Some of the restaurants created a special burger just for the event, like at Burger Theory. Folks there say they’re excited for customers to try their Bleu-Grass, Bleu Bridge Bacon Burger. “You know, like all small businesses across the country, 2020 was a difficult year, but we are super excited for the spring and summer coming up in 2021,” said Lauren Worthington, the general manager at the Holiday Inn. “We think this burger week is a great way to get people back out in the community, eating out at local restaurants, whether that be here at Burger Theory or your other local restaurants.”
