The Prince Albert Catholic School Division announced on Friday they have nearly completed their project to improve air quality within each of their schools. The school board has been working on improving air quality in its schools since the early days of the pandemic in the spring of 2020, shortly after it was discovered that COVID-19 was an airborne virus. “The Board of Education proactively knew air quality was extremely important and rallied to proceed to approve the project,” said board chair Suzanne Stubbs in a statement. Stubbs credits the Board of Education, school division personnel, and the associated contractors for their commitment to completing the project while improving conditions for students and staff.
