The Pirates were defeated 57-16 by (2) Olympic, an eventual 4A western regional finalist, in the second round. Those returning players are vying to get back to work for improvement on a campaign that went above some expectations. The 2019-20 season featured much change for the varsity boys basketball team that plays home games inside Mac Morris Gymnasium. Page finished 16-12, while going 4-4 in Metro 4A Conference play. The Pirates played for a conference tournament title before falling against Northwest Guilford (74-60), then was an 18-seed in the 4A playoffs prior to bowing out in the second round. There were many variables going into the year like a new head coach, new players having increased roles, new coaching practices being put into place, and more.
