Fibre2Fashion Toggle navigation 13 Pic: Shutterstock Pakistan’s commerce ministry recently notified creation of the National Export Development Board (NEDB), which would offer strategic guidance to raise export competitiveness by improving the environment for exports and increasing export capabilities of companies. Chaired by the prime minister, it may co-opt local and overseas Pakistani experts, women and young entrepreneurs on sectoral issues. Additional representatives from private and public sectors will be invited to the NEDB on agenda basis, according to Pakistani media reports. Private sector representatives to be invited on agenda basis include those from Suraj Cotton Mills, Lahore; Sadaqat Textiles, Faisalabad; Style Textile, Lahore; Bykea, Karachi; and Nova Leathers.
