"This will be my last year as superintendent of Multnomah Education Service District," Breyer told the MESD board and stakeholders recently. "After nearly 10 years as a superintendent in Multnomah County, I feel called to return to direct service. It's time for me to update my perspective, refresh my skills, and renew my passion with direct service to students and families," he said, calling it a "difficult decision."
