Pardee, AdventHealth hospitals receive ‘A’ grade for patient safety AdventHealth Hendersonville and Pardee UNC Health Care have both received an "A” grade for patient safety from a national hospital watchdog organization. The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade assigns an A, B, C, D or F grade to all general hospitals across the country and is updated every six months. It is the only hospital ratings program based exclusively on hospitals’ prevention of medical errors and other harms to patients in their care, according to a news release from Pardee. The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade was created by The Leapfrog Group, which is an “independent, national not-for-profit organization founded more than a decade ago by the nation’s leading employers and private health care experts,” according to the organization’s website.
