Article content WENDY RAYSON-KERR Keep calm and carry on! A year ago I never would have expected to be quoting a British War poster. However, this now famous statement is certainly appropriate for today and it describes what we are doing here at the Parrott Gallery. We have had to pause, pivot, regroup and reorganize, but we are thrilled to be showcasing artwork again, both online and in person. We apologize, but this video has failed to load. Parrott Gallery showcasing artwork again Back to video In Gallery One we have Kingston artist Linda Coulter’s fibre art creations on display in a show called, “Rejuvenate”. Layers of colourful fabric explode before your eyes, all somehow contained within their frames. The mood of each piece varies, as seasons are uniquely represented. Rachel Harbour’s exhibition “Garden Sanctuary” in Gallery Two also transports us through the seasons. Her show includes both delicate watercolour studies that will draw you in, and larger acrylic and mixed media pieces that are similarly sensitive. These two shows are available to view both from the comfort of your own home through our website, and in gallery. We are currently operating with reduced hours: we are closed on Sunday and Monday, and open from 1-5 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. On Thursday we are open from 1-7 p.m.
