By Casey Nelson Mar 11, 2021 1:24 PM GRAND CHUTE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) â No one was hurt when a building in Grand Chute partially collapsed, resulting in a gas leak. The Grand Chute Fire Department says it was dispatched shortly before 11:30 a.m. Thursday for a report of a partial building collapse in the 2100 block of Wisconsin Avenue. Crews were told that the gas meter in the structure was damaged in the collapse and was leaking. Crews first on scene found that a portion of the building adjacent to an addition under construction had collapsed. The damaged gas meter was also found covered by debris and blowing gas, and adjacent businesses were evacuated.
