JAKARTA, Feb 23 (dpa): Floods that hit parts of the Indonesian capital over the weekend have receded, and but other areas on Java island were still underwater on Tuesday, officials said. The floods that followed heavy rains have affected nearly 200,000 people in Jakarta and neighbouring districts since Saturday, according to the National Disaster Management Agency. At least five people, including four children, were killed in Jakarta on Saturday, mostly by drowning, the city's governor Anies Baswedan said. "Water has receded in all flooded areas now," he said. But in the nearby towns of Bekasi, Karawang and Tangerang, some neighbourhoods were still under water, according the disaster agency.
