As I look around the league, I think the teams to focus on for a potential deal are those that have vastly underperformed expectations and are skewing much older with their core players. This brings me to Toronto. They ve clearly taken a significant step back. Siakim is playing poorly for him and it seems his value is much lower than last year when he was an all star starter. He likely won t make the game this year. Is there an opportunity to start the rebuild in Toronto by offering our young talent and picks?
Toronto needed him to be the go to guy, and I don t think he will ever be that, but a second/third scorer and a defensive stalwart might be right in his wheelhouse. Welcome to Portland Pascal.
