Patwari suspended, Girdawar attached Excelsior Correspondent UDHAMPUR, Dec 31: Taking suo moto cognizance of a video circulating on social media wherein a complainant is seen alleging that the revenue officials at Tehsil Ramnagar were demanding and accepting bribe for issuing RBA certificates, Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Dr Piyush Singla has placed the concerned Patwari under suspension and also ordered attachment of the Girdawar concerned to the DC Office Udhampur. Further, Tehsildar Ramnagar has been issued show cause notice in the matter while Additional DC Udhampur, Mohd Syed Khan, has been appointed as the Enquiry Officer to conduct an in-depth enquiry into the matter and verify the authenticity and veracity of the allegations levelled on the revenue officials by the complainant.
