Paulding Council looks at loan refinance Wednesday, March 17, 2021 12:04 PM By MELINDA KRICK Correspondent PAULDING – A nuisance animal complaint, personnel matters and a loan refinance that could save more than $1 million were discussion items at Paulding Village Council’s regular meeting Monday, March 15. Resident Thomas Carlisle asked if the village can do anything about cats creating a nuisance and damaging his property in Emerald Acres. Some felines are pets and some are feral. Solicitor Harvey Hyman said he checked but didn’t find anything addressing cats in any existing ordinances. He suggested that pet owners are responsible for any damage their animal causes so Carlisle may want to consult an attorney.
