PD: Glendale man stabbed, killed by unknown suspect while answering door and last updated 2020-12-24 10:13:40-05 GLENDALE, AZ â Glendale police are investigating a deadly stabbing at an apartment near 83rd and Glendale avenues. Officers were dispatched to the residence overnight after receiving a call about a stabbing. Responding officers found a 60-year-old man on the floor of an apartment. He was reportedly unresponsive and had suffered a stab wound. Officers attempted life-saving measures on the victim until paramedics arrived and took the victim to the hospital. The man was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the hospital. Police say witnesses reported the victim answered a knock at the door when he was stabbed by an unknown suspect.
