Pedestrian hit by car while crossing Fish Hatchery Road April 27, 2021 10:17 PM Brandon Arbuckle FITCHBURG, Wis. — Police are investigating after a pedestrian was hit by a car in Fitchburg on Tuesday night. Officials were sent to the intersection of Fish Hatchery and Post roads for a report of a car vs. pedestrian accident shortly before 8:30 p.m. A news release said officers arrived and found EMS tending to an injured man. Police learned he was hit while crossing Fish Hatchery Road just north of Post Road. The man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Officials said the driver involved in the accident stayed at the scene and was cooperative with officials.
