Article content Pembroke’s 2021 budget numbers are not yet etched in stone after council’s first day of budget deliberations, but early indications are residents can expect around a 2.2 per cent levy increase. Going into this year’s budget talks that began on Jan. 20, Pembroke Mayor Mike LeMay told council he wanted to try and keep the overall increase around two per cent. City treasurer / deputy clerk Angela Lochtie, in presenting the proposed budget to council, provided four different levy scenarios.
