PENNS MANOR SCHOOL BOARD APPROVES RESOLUTION CONCERNING PROPERTY TAX LEVELS IN 2021-2022 BUDGET By Josh Widdowson Jan 14, 2021 8:07 PM At Thursday night’s meeting, the Penns Manor School Board approved by a 7-1 vote a resolution concerning property taxes for the next fiscal year. The resolution states for the 2021-2022 budget, taxes will not be increased by over the limit put in place by the PA Department of Education. For Penns Manor, that means taxes will not increase by more than 4.4%. District Superintendent Daren Johnston said that doesn’t necessarily mean that taxes will go up by that much, if they go up at all.
