ANGOLA â Organizers of Angola Balloons Aloft are reaching out to the public to become a part of the event beyond being spectators. People can welcome balloonists to their properties â typically acreages and farms â and there are some safety pointers for the public to follow. âIf a balloon lands on a property with permission, the pilots always enjoy having the host property owner engage! Itâs part of the enjoyment for the pilots and crew to meet rural folks and entertain them with their sport,â said Marsha Drewes, who along with her husband, Walt, chair the committee that organizes Balloons Aloft.
