The Council of State has called for favoring the debate of ideas and proposals, as well as for rejecting speeches that encourage hatred against those who think differently, according to a statement issued on Friday on the presidential runoff election scheduled for June 6. This body brings together the highest authorities of State powers to discuss relevant issues. In the Declaration, the Council of State indicates that citizens have the right to get to know the proposals in the electoral race so as to cast an informed vote, within the framework of a constitutional and democratic State.
