Pet cat returned home after going missing for two years


TEN years ago to the day, the Daily Echo ran an incredible story about a feline that had been on a mysterious adventure.
The cat was missing for almost two years before it tuurned up safe and well just over one mile from home.
The black and white long-haired cat Patsy was discovered under a lorry at a recycling plant near her former home in Queen Anne Drive, Merley.
The youngster was collected by Cats Protection and found to have a microchip which identified her as belonging to grandmother of four Carol Wright.
Carol said: “She was only three months old when she went missing. I did all the usual things – put up flyers, phoned up the RSPCA but there was nothing so I gave up.
