Damian Ian Ranginui, 30 entered no pleas when he appeared in the Palmerston North District Court on Monday afternoon. He faces various charges related to his alleged involvement in a car chase in Palmerston North on Sunday. Police said they were responding to a report of a family harm incident on Russell St that morning, during which time a vehicle left the address and later crashed into a petrol pump at Waitomo on Tremaine Ave.
