This is a compilation of reports released by the Pettis County Sheriff's Office: On Monday, July 5 at 6:37 p.m., the Pettis County K9 Unit conducted a traffic stop at 7th and Harrison in Sedalia. The passenger, who was identified as Pierre D. Sams, was arrested for tampering with physical evidence and possession of marijuana. Sams was transported to the Pettis County Jail.
On Monday, July 5, at 5:18 p.m., the Pettis County K9 Unit was northbound on US 65, just south of Thornleigh, when a traffic stop was conducted and the driver, Homer Lucas, was arrested for driving while revoked or suspended.
