PFCU donates $3,966 to IM Kids 3rd Meal Sentinel Staff IONIA — A charity drive by employees at a credit union raised nearly $4,000 for IM Kids 3rd Meal. For a minimum donation deducted from their paycheck, PFCU employees could wear jeans and tennis shoes at work. As a result, employees donated $3,966, according to a news release. Employees choose a charity to donate the money to each quarter. IM Kids 3rd Meal, which provides meals to food insecure children in Ionia and Montcalm counties, was selected as the recipient of PFCU’s first-quarter donation. “This donation comes at the perfect time when we are trying to raise monies for a box truck to help with transportation of food,” stated Deborah Wagner, director of Grants & Special Projects at the Ionia County Intermediate School District.
