Phase 1 of PH business registration portal goes live Share on email Government agencies led by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) and the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) formally launched on Thursday, Jan. 28, the first phase of the Central Business Portal. The project proponents said the CBP is being developed and deployed in phases, with the initial phase centered on an online, unified business application process. Upon completion, the CBP will be a one-stop-shop for all business-related transactions such as securing business permits, licenses, and clearances. The creation of the CBP is mandated by Republic Act (R.A.) No. 11032, or the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Services Delivery Act of 2018. The law aims to eliminate red tape, graft and corruption, promote transparency, and sustain ease-of-doing business.
