The Audubon County Secondary Roads Department announced today (Tuesday) that Pheasant Avenue will be closed starting next week for a substantial bridge replacement project. Construction is scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, July 6 on Pheasant Avenue, also known as County Road N36, between 220 th Street and Highway 44 for work on the David’s Creek crossing. A detour has been established that will divert Pheasant Avenue traffic to U.S. Highway 71 via Highway 44 and 190 th Street. Work is scheduled to last through summer and into autumn with a projected completion date of Tuesday, Oct. 26.
