PHILRADS The group decided to shift to a more eco-friendly packaging so as not to further contribute to the growing number of plastic wastes. “For 40 years, PHILRADS has been very faithful in serving the people by providing their basic needs especially during emergency and disaster responses and it cannot be denied that during these times, PHILRADS has been using plastic bags for its relief packs,” PHILRADS said in a Facebook post. The group added that this has contributed to the growing number of plastic wastes. “We have recognized the need for change and therefore we are committed to helping our environment through our creation care advocacy. Our first step is shifting into more eco-friendly relief packaging,” PHILRADS said.
