Wesley Alan Gantt, 25, of Pickens was identified Thursday by the Pickens County Coroner’s Office. Gantt was driving north on Wahalla Highway Tuesday night when the dirt bike he was driving was struck in the rear by a Jeep, according to South Carolina Highway Patrol Trooper Joel Hovis. Gantt was transported to the hospital was pronounced dead Wednesday morning, according to the Highway Patrol. Tamia Boyd is a Michigan native who covers breaking news in Greenville.
