Pittsfield, MA Police Respond to Third Shooting in Three Days


Last night the Pittsfield Police responded the to city's third ShotSpotter alert in as many days.
Yesterday, Thursday, June 3, shortly after 11:00 pm, officers responded to a ShotSpotter activation in the area of 266 Francis Avenue. Upon their arrival, officers observed a motor vehicle that had been struck by gunfire. The vehicle was occupied by three individuals, including two small children. No injuries were reported. A second vehicle that was unoccupied was also struck by bullets.
