PETALING JAYA: PKR has claimed there are several Members of Parliament (MPs) soliciting statutory declarations (SD) from other MPs in order to obtain positions in the current government. PKR communications director Fahmi Fadzil said the party is concerned over allegations that several MPs who do not hold key leadership positions within their own parties are attempting to solicit SDs of support from other MPs in order to acquire positions in the current federal government. Fahmi said the party is also made to understand that these MPs are soliciting these SDs with the claim they have received the "blessings" of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.
