Plans for 2021 Coldwater Strawberry Fest move forward : vima

COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – After the annual Strawberry Fest and Craft Show in downtown Coldwater was called off last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Coldwater City Council gave the City’s Recreation Department a cautious approval on Monday night to move ahead with the 2021 event which is scheduled for June 19.
City officials wanted to get City Council feedback due to the amount of planning it takes to put on a large event like Strawberry Fest.
The 2019 event attracted 163 vendors but Community Enrichment Director Julie Santure says they will have to spread the vendors out this year and they don’t know how many will show up.
