Plea offer made in attempted robbery of Buffalo Wild Wings employee who fought robber off Updated Mar 11, 2021; Facebook Share SAGINAW, MI — Prosecutors have extended a plea offer to a man they say tried robbing a woman outside a Saginaw County Buffalo Wild Wings, but failed because she fought him off. Justin V. Sabin, 39, on Thursday, March 11, waived his right to a preliminary examination before Saginaw County District Judge A.T. Frank. Frank bound Sabin’s case over to Saginaw County Circuit Court, where the defendant’s options are to face a trial or accept a plea deal. Saginaw County Assistant Prosecutor Blair N. Stevenson said he has made Sabin the offer that if he pleads guilty as charged, he’ll recommend Sabin receive a sentence at the bottom of the advisory guidelines, which is anticipated to be at least 42 months.
