During a two-day visit to Kerala, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated transformative projects in Kochi, valued at over Rs 4,000 crore. These initiatives strategically strengthen India's maritime capabilities, including the New Dry Dock and the International Ship Repair Facility by Cochin Shipyard Limited, alongside the LPG Import Terminal managed by Indian Oil Corporation Limited.
