PNP says it's deeply troubled by 'increasing lawlessness in Jamaica'

With the spate of crimes against women over recent weeks, the Opposition People's National Party (PNP) has said it is "deeply troubled" by what the party cited as increasing lawlessness in the country.
Additionally, the party said it is likewise troubled about "the lack of any discernible strategy to stem the tide" as the island "experiences panic, concern and a certain numbness from the repeated reports of fatal attacks and abductions of women."
In a statement on Wednesday, Opposition Leader, Mark Golding, outlined several recent incidents which he said "deepened the sense of vulnerability among women, demoralising the entire population".
