The charges follow a collision on Learmonth Street, near Arthur Street, where a black Holden Commodore sedan allegedly collided with a grey Mazda sedan about 11.50am. The driver and sole occupant of the Mazda, a 71-year-old Alfredton woman, sadly died at the scene. The 32-year-old driver of the Holden was taken to hospital with minor injuries. His passengers, two 22-year-old women and a 1-year-old baby, were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
