Police: 'Jealous' Laredo man arrested for assaulting girlfriend after argument July 19, 2021 FacebookTwitterEmail A man has been arrested for an alleged domestic disturbance involving his girlfriend. The Laredo Police Department reported that Luis Alberto Hernandez was arrested at the 900 block of Logan Avenue at around 1:34 a.m. on Saturday morning. The 24 year old was charged with Assault Causes Bodily Injury (Family Violence) C/A. Police said Hernandez was booked at LPD headquarters and remanded to the Webb County Jail in lieu of no bond set by Judge Oscar Liendo. Police stated that the case unfolded on Saturday at 2:12 p.m. as they responded to a “domestic disturbance” call at Ventura Street.
