Several analyses on pols emphasise the same point, that the houses are dependent on each other with novel architectural practice. Interconnectivity distributes and helps from earthquake shocks. A recent project by Saatvika Pancholi as part of a Cept University studio brought into focus the earthquake resilience of pols. The project underlines factors such as wooden parts of the buildings, cross walls, orthogonal connections and height regularity.
