Poole flat fully closed to visitors and tenant by the courts

BCP Council secured the closure order for 35 Cinnamon Lane at Poole Magistrates’ Court earlier this week.
This action on the Poole Housing Partnership (PHP) property comes just eight months after an initial three-month partial closure order was put in place by the courts.
Cllr May Haines, BCP Council portfolio holder for community safety, said “This sends a message that antisocial behaviour will not be tolerated and we are working with partner agencies to identify a longer term solution for this address.”
As reported, partial closure orders were secured for 32 and 35 Cinnamon Lane following “on-going and enduring anti-social behaviour”.
This measure, which is being used increasingly by BCP Council, initially allowed the occupants to remain in their homes so the authorities could work with them to successfully sustain their tenancies.
