Share Updated: 7:19 PM EDT Jul 11, 2021 Drivers can expect delays Monday due to bridge replacements along Business 85 in Spartanburg County.I85-B from Exit 3 to 4B will be closed (North and South Bound) for bridge replacements, that’s according to Spartanburg County Emergency Management. The bridges over Buffington Road/Norfolk Southern Railroad & Howard Street will be replaced, according to Spartanburg County Emergency Management. Officials said vehicles should not be passing under the bridge while the work is being performed. Officials said the closure is expected to last until July 31, 2023. There are detours for this closure.:-SC-85 (I-85 Business) Northbound will be closed at Exit 3, New Cut Road.Northbound SC-85 traffic needing to access exits north of Exit 3 will be detouredat Exit 2B using I-26, I-85 and I-585 with an additional detour provided at Exit 3,utilizing New Cut Road, Fairforest Road, and Asheville Highway for local traffic.- SC-85 (I-85 Business) Southbound will be closed at Exit 4B, Asheville Highway.Southbound SC-85 traffic needing to access exits south of Exit 4B will bedetoured at Exit 5B using I-585, I-85, and I-26 with an additional detourprovided at Exit 4B utilizing Asheville Highway, Fairforest Road, and New CutRoad for local traffic.
