Contractors will be working at the Brainerd Armory to provide utility hookups to storm sewer, watermain and sanitary sewer. Motorists should use alternate routes during the closure. The road will open again at the end of the day Wednesday, May 19. The city urges drivers to use caution when traveling in or near construction zones or road closures. Construction equipment has many blind spots and although drivers may be able to see the operator, they may not be able to see drivers.
