IPOH: It is possible to have Ramadan bazaars for the coming fasting month, says Housing and Local Government Minister Datuk Zuraida Kamaruddin. She said her ministry would discuss it with the relevant parties first, including the National Security Council (NSC). "If we can have wet markets and night markets open, I do not see why we cannot open Ramadan bazaars. "However, we will have to come up with efficient and proper standard operating procedures for the bazaars," she said after attending the launch of robotic applications at the Ipoh Central Market here on Tuesday (March 16). No Ramadan bazaars were held in the country last year owing to the Covid-19 pandemic.
