Poulsbo man dies after crash on Highway 3

A 23-year-old Poulsbo man injured Monday in a crash on Highway 3 died the next day in a Tacoma hospital. 
Hamad H. Alotbi was driving east on Northwest Pioneer Hill Road in a 2003 Honda Odyssey minivan at about 8 a.m. when he pulled onto the highway in front of a 26-year-old Belfair woman driving a Ford F250 pick-up truck, according to a statement from the Washington State Patrol. The truck struck the minivan on the passenger side.
Troopers at the scene believe Alotbi failed to stop for the stop sign at the intersection.
