Power poles down on East Side of Tucson TUCSON (KVOA) - The Pima County Sheriff Department has confirmed that multiple power poles are down on East Speedway between Tanque Verde Loop and Smoky Springs Road. The roadway is closed as crews work to safely remove damaged poles. If you drive in the area, you are advised to take alternative routes. If you do choose to drive, drive safely.
