By Kent Casson For The Daily Leader Those passing by North Seventh Street in Fairbury Thursday morning may have thought Prairie Central High School turned into a used farm equipment dealership. Members of the Prairie Central FFA participated in the annual drive-your-tractor-to-school day during National FFA Week. Carson Zimmerman drove a John Deere four-wheel-drive tractor from his home north of Forrest. “This is definitely my favorite day,” Zimmerman said. Clayton Rieger also had a long morning commute through farm country as he brought a John Deere 9630 on tracks from the Chatsworth area. “I like it. It’s pretty fun,” admitted Rieger.
