(Photo by Matt Hennie) The effort to declare the former home of the Atlanta Eagle a historic landmark easily passed another hurdle on Thursday – the same day the historic preservationists fueling the proposal revoked their support. The board’s approval came after Neighborhood Planning Unit E voted to support the effort on Tuesday.
