در مقابل چشمان جهانیان، بیمارستان ها، کلیساها، مساجد, نظامیان, به بهانه دروغ حمله به حماس the مقاومت فلسطین هدف قرار و ناگوار در منطقه غرب آسیاست. Coming closer based on unity and solidarity and the stance of muslim countries who last wednesday came together in juda thank you very much minister abdullah hen and good afternoon and assalamu alalaikum everyone present here. I wish to thank his excellency the minister, my dear brother for having welcomed me so warmly to tehran and for creating the opportunity for our two countries to continue deliberations on how we strengthen the partnership between our two countries, and now it is Even Stronger partnership, because it is not just bilateral, we are also partners within bricks, now that iran is one of the six additional countries that have become full members. The bricks forum, weve agreed with the minister that there are abundant opportunities that we need to exploit as the two countries in a wide range of sectors, its important that as we attend to matters of politics and justice, we also address economic issues, because its vital that developing countries achieve Sustainable Growth in order to develop our people and create opportunity for them and establish countries that are stable in which our people enjoy full livelihood and enjoyment of all opportunity. The sectors that we believe are open for even greater exploration between the two countries, culture where south africa is an excellent producer of agricultural goods and south africa has some of the best beef in the world minister which wed love to trade with iran. We also believe we should collaborate in the Energy Sector. South africa is trying to expand its range and diversified range of sources of energy. And is looking to International Partners to achieve this objective. We also, i believe, can share a great deal of experience and development in the area of digitalization, in utilization of Digital Technologies for People Development and entrepreneurship and economic development. A fourth area in which the Islamic Republic of iran has done. Very well is in science and innovation, and we would like to establish partnerships between our universities and our researchers in order to advance cooperation in science and innovation. As my colleague has said, we discussed number of matters of global interest and concern. Firstly, we spent time discussing the brick. Forum, the now expanded bricks and in particular shared our thinking with respect to the agreement we have within bricks that as bricks members, we need to do much more to have dynamic, concrete attention to reform of the mechanisms of the United Nations, most particularly the un security council. Which we as bricks members believe is undemocratic in practice and not representative in composition, thats unsc reform is an important agenda item on the business of bricks. We also within bricks are looking at the current challenge that we confront as countries of the world when you have unilateral imposition of sanctions which affect financial transactions, and if we are all utilizing, for example the dollar, you then find yourself having a secondary effect. These sanctions, so we are investigating as bricks, the use of multiple currencies for international trade, and we would like to develop such an approach as a start between ourselves as bricks countries, and hopefully develop a policy and framework that would allow our Financial Systems to start moving us in a new and modern direction. Then on the matter of the current disgraceful onslot that is underway against the people of gaza and palestine. We believe as south africa that we as Global Community need to pay far greater attention to the situation of injustice and lack of enjoyment. Of human rights that is confronting the people of palestine. As south africa, weve often spoken about how to the world community, particularly the most developed countries in the world, some of that deserve human rights, others do not deserve human rights. We see this in the treatment of the people of palestine, that their land can be occupied, but we dont talk about. About occupation, so it is important that as the Global Community we really begin to draw together as progressive nations to have far greater activism against the injustice that is being experienced by the people of palestine. It is sad that many countries in the region in which palestine exists had essentially. Deserted the people of palestine, but i think they can see today why countries like south africa have been consistent in their support for palestine and have never deviated from the belief president mandela held that until the people of palestine are free, south africa will not be fully free, nor any other person that suffers from injustice, so its is our task as nations of the world to do much more than we have done before, to support the people of palestine, be it in the United Nations system where to ensure that finally they enjoy justice and the human rights that many of us have access to today. As south africa, we are very clear, our policy is that we support the existence of twostate solution. And we believe that such a two state outcome must be based on the Un Resolution that recognizes that the borders of the state of palestine would accord with the borders of 1967 as per the appropriate United Nations resolution. So from our side as south africa, we are a country that promotes peace. And that supports peace, and we dont pretend that palestine is not occupied, we do not pretend that the people of palestine do not enjoy rights, we find it uncontrable that israel is supported to essentially wage a war of ethnic cleansing against the people of palestine, and the world should be horrified and should be acting far more urgently on. This matter, in this regard we congratulate as south africa president alsisi of egypt for having convend a multicountry peace summit that seeks to Pay Attention to the plight of the people of palestine, and we support the actions that have been proposed by that peace summit. We also believe the world must pay greater attention to the african continent, where as a. Result for of a great deal of external interference, many african countries are now having conflicts, they dont enjoy economic growth, weve seen the growth. In cous and other negative conduct in several countries on the continent. We believe that when you have conflict in parts of the north, then africa is forgotten, and this is wrong as well. As the world community, we need to come together far more decisively to address matters such as the Sustainable Development goals, to ensure no person is left behind. That every human being enjoys opportunity and that all of us enjoy a right to development. I look forward to working with my colleague, minister abdullain on these important tasks and ensuring that as iran and south africa we become an example to the world in positive conduct that seeks to uplift humanity rather than to cause war and destruction. I thank you very much. Okay, the south Africa Pandor uh in her visit to iran, which is very important visit, talking with the irani for mr. Hussan abdullahyan, these two countries have lot in common in terms of uh, not only the um south africa being a victim of the parthide regime, which uh obviously had no longer exist there, but also for the fact that iran is now a permanent member of bricks and as such uh she made some comments on that uh of which uh she said that they need to strengthen their partnership and uh pretty much through uh the types of cooperation that uh she is looking forward to um uh some of the issues that she said she was interested in is in the Energy Sector um wants to expand the Energy Resources also things like agriculture she mentioned beef uh she said there could be good collaboration there and um Digitalization Technology for People Development, science and innovation um are things that uh they uh could perhaps cooperate uh with each other. Uh talked about the un that it needs uh to reform and basically said this undemocratic system and that is on the agenda of bricks and also uh in terms of currencies she said that uh bricks members are looking for the use, not looking, are using multiple currencies and they are hopeful to develop Financial System to start moving bricks in new and modern direction as she said. And then again expanded on the current disgraceful onslot on palestine uh the world needs to pay far greater attention to injustice and to uh make sure that people of palestine um enjoy their human rights and that it is our task to do much more to support the people of palestine just some of the highlights that we were hoping uh for our correspondent to talk to her. Were going to now uh go on live to gaza and look at the skyline there and see what we are witnessing there which is the 15th day of what we understand to be the. Israel bombardment in terms of what is happening in gaza, its uh the the Bombing Campaign has continued, over 100 people have been killed, um, based on the stats that we have, there you have the stats as to what has transpired in the past 15. Days, the uh scrummishes in the southern uh lebanon border area dos continue uh with the Regime Forces of israel there a correspondent indicated that uh some of the uh if not all the posts that uh do the spying for israel have all been demolished and destroyed by hizballah and the resistance fighters so uh that leaves israel somewhat not as capable obviously in terms of of its uh way that it could actually approach his bullah fighters and uh carry its uh surveillance a minimum on uh the Resistance Forces including hezbollah and of course in the occupite territories uh the highlight there was the bombing of the jane refugee camber mosk was targeted there and few people have died i think three people died as a result. So uh the 15th day is still uh uh continuing with the Bombing Campaign and these uh supposed uh Ground Invasion thats been talked about its just continues to be out there. News keeps coming through from the israeli side that they are preparing for the next stage and that is going to happen, but uh that has not materialized as of yet. So uh those are some of the highlights i can give you as to what has has occurred, more importantly, maybe in a sense are the protests that have taken place throughout the world where thousands upon thousands, if not hundreds of thousands in some parts of the world, in london there were over 100 thousand people. Walked in Central London uh one of the largest uh protest there, largest palestinian protest there, maybe it was the largest palestinian protest. Now we have gisuum joining us from uh, i believe the Foreign Ministry uh office uh or venue and she joins us now to tell us about the im at the Foreign Ministry right now and we uh just attended a press conference uh where the iranian farm minister and his south african counterpart elaborated on issues. Of bilateral interests, obviously, the bilateral relations between south africa and iran, which are expanding exponentially very significantly, actually over the past uh couple of months in particular uh was uh the most important part of this meeting, the fact that iran has joined bricks as an official member and also the bilateral relations between the two sides which have been growing uh were topics of discussion. The foreign minister of iran did announce that the iranian president will soon be visiting south africa upon invitation by his south african counterpart a state visit again another important sign that the two sides uh relations are growing very significantly on all different levels. Another issue that is important to highlight covid is the shared stance of iran and south africa regarding the recent developments and in the middle east the israeli uh attacks on the gaza strip uh every hour leaving lots of casualties and of course mothers children uh being killed, hospitals being destroyed, even uh religious places, holy places such as churches have been destroyed in gaza, so these attacks are pretty much indiscriminate from the israeli part and both iran and south africa were very uh clearly offering their support for the palestinian nation in this uh press conference, particularly the south african president did not mince her words. She said that south africa will be standing by the people of palestine, they have and they always will be, without any deviation, they have always uh supported the palestinian nation, is important for them to be. Standing on the right side of history, and of course she did point to a quote by nelson mandella, who is an International Icon for all freedom fighters, that uh, the african, the south african nation will not be entirely free, and their struggle will not achieve their goals as long as palessign is not free, so uh, just pointing to that particular quote from. Nelson mandela cover wraps up uh basically uh south africa stance regarding the recent developments in gaza in palestine in the occupied territories like i said the foreign minister of south africa did not mention her words several times. She mentioned that it should not be overlooked by the international community. The fact that palestine is occupied by israel. They are occupiers, they have to be treated as oc empires and of course the human rights of the people of palestine has been completely ignored over the past uh more than seven, nearly eight decades and of course she did point to the fact that it seems that uh people are not equal when it comes to enjoying human rights, so the people of palestine have not uh have been deprived actually from uh their uh rights as humans, whereas we see Different Countries advocating human rights now offering their full support for the occupy side for the occupiers israel. Thank you very much for that, we appreciate it. Thatsmed talking to us from the foren ministry. Thank you for that. Uh, which gives us just a couple minutes time for a quick breather and we back with uh international news, i believe, unless were going to cross on over for the scene that were seeing to the left, which is the um a site of where um unfortunate hezbollah marters, and the funeral thats taking place. الله يا حبيب الله حال الوداء حال الوداء هذا الفراق لا. In place, mari, over to you, yes, well, this funeral, fortunately, it looks like we lost mariam there, im sure theyre trying to get her back to tell us more about this funeral procession thats taking place where you have hesball member that was killed in the fighting with the israeli Regime Forces, excuse me. There have been a number of murders that hisbollah and the business fighters have given uh in the military exchanges that have taken place. Miriam is supposedly back with us, mariam over to you. Yes, like i was saying, this funeral is just one of basically five, i think that will be taking place today, um, and thats this one specifically is in one of the villages in South Lebanon. In the village of the bean, it is in district in area, and of course there will be other processions, one of them is actually will be in the bakar, so therefore you have fighters from hazbil and not all from South Lebanon or from day root, there are also from other areas like the baka areas of course, they as they have the during the Israeli Occupation uh fighters from all across lebanon taking part in this fight against the Israeli Occupation, these so right now as well, im sure you heard the chance over there usually and during their funerals um of their marters, they usually there are ashura processions and therefore slogans relating to karbala, relating to to imam hussein and their sacrifices, they believe that that is an extension of those sacrifices in order to liberate the people and to liberate lands and in order to protect the people also from any sort of oppression and aggression. Now here we are in the village and the town. Actually of odaisie on the border and you can see behind me, one of them very significant posts for the israeli military, the uh this was one of the posts that was targeted by hazbullahs resistance, and this is just one of many. Today we also had new targeting for one of the largest and tallest actually perveillance powers for the israelis, that was something that was a bit further off than all
