Bill PHILLIPS/Free Press It’s not every day Mounties in red serge greet those entering a police station and, once inside, visitors are greeted with the smell of sweetgrass. But that was exactly the scene when new $38.95 million Prince George RCMP detachment was unveiled Saturday. A group of about 30 guests, including Canada’s top cop, Commissioner Bob Paulson, city council, and the media were on hand for the official opening and tour of the 5,912 square metre facility on Victoria Street.
