It’s all about building blocks. Because of where they’ve been and where they’re headed, the UNBC soccer program can call this season a positive one. Such a notion sounds a little absurd at best if an individual judges success strictly on wins and losses. After all, the UNBC men and women each enter their final week of B.C. Colleges’ Athletic Association with a win to their credit. It took 12 games for the men (1-11) and women (1-1-10) to collect their first victories as both teams defeated the UBC Okanagan Lakers at the North Cariboo soccer pitch on Sunday.
