Bach's "The Musical Offering" starting Wednesday, Feb. 17.Jack Ryan Facebook Share Musicians of the Princeton Symphony Orchestra will perform Johann Sebastian Bach’s “ Das Musikalische Opfer (The Musical Offering), BWV 1079″ over four free musical episodes to be released weekly on the orchestra’s website from Feb. 17 to March 10. PSO’s assistant conductor Nell Flanders will curate the project, which is being individually recorded in musicians’ homes then combined digitally. Each segment will features one to six musicians and will be hosted by Flanders, who will introduce the music in tandem with conversations centering on Bach and his work.
