Prof. Yankah reacts to Ayariga’s motion for absorption of 2021 tertiary fees LISTEN JAN 26, 2021 A former Minister of Education, in charge of tertiary education, Prof. Kwesi Yankah has reacted to the request by the Member of Parliament for Bawku Central, Mahama Ayariga asking Parliament to approve a motion for the absorption of 2021 fees in public tertiary institutions. Prof. Ayariga in the motion argued that this move is necessary to cushion parents against the impact of COVID-19. But according to Prof. Yankah, the motion is a bit late as students have started paying fees and have not particularly complained about it.
